Premier Livestock Cattle Handling
This year we have decided to become agents for Premier Livestock Cattle Handling. We made this decision because we were looking for a robust cattle handling system we could use ourselves on the farm and with the buffalo. We met George (the designer) at the Royal Welsh show in July 2007 and were so impressed by the crate that we immediately wanted one. We also saw the benefits such a system would have for the modern beef and dairy farmer.
This is the mark II crate with additional vet inspection area. It features the unique Unistock self-catch yoke which is fully adjustable and choke proof should the animal go down while in the crate. It has a rotating rump bar, opening side doors, up and over side bars (leaving the animal fully accessible), anti-kick bars set into the side doors making clipping safe and easy both for operator and animal.
The crate can be fitted with calf squeeze for easy handling of youngstock (including dehorning), foot trimming accessories, clipping arm and electronic weighing. The headgate is removable and can be used with heavy duty hurdles should you wish to handle cattle at outlying land.
